SoftBank Vision Fund acquires major stake in Flipkart Store

Under the deal, the fund will receive an undisclosed stake by buying other investors’ shares and injecting money directly into the company, but the size of the deal seems so large that it is now the largest stake in the company and is believed to be worth $ 2.5 billion.

After this investment, Flipkart had funds of about $ 4 billion, especially after it received financing from giants such as Tencent, Japan, Microsoft and eBay.

SoftBank was announced last May with the participation of the world’s largest technology companies and the Saudi Public Investment Fund with a total capital of $ 100 billion aimed at investing in technology companies in several fields, most notably e-commerce.
