Despite the strong growth achieved by iPad sales, tablet PCs continue to decline for the eleventh quarter in a row!

In the second quarter of the year, 37.9 million tablets were shipped, with a decline of more than 2 million compared to the same quarter of last year, and a decline of 3.4% annually.

Apple topped the list with about 11.6 million iPads, accounting for nearly 20 percent of global shipments. Samsung came in second with half of Apple’s 6 million share, 16 percent in shipments and Huawei with half Samsung’s share of 3 million computers and only 8 percent.

Amazon and Lenovo ranked fourth and fifth with 2.2 and 2.4 million respectively.
