HTC has unveiled the Vive Standalone virtual reality glasses at the ChinaJoy Entertainment Show.
The Vive Standalone headset does not need wire or sensor setup. It is an independent headset that supports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. Applications are managed through the Viveport platform and do not depend on Google’s store. There is no other information about the other specifications or price, but the glasses will be launched exclusively in China.
