Officially: Adobe Announces the End of Flash Player by 2020

Adobe has surrendered to reality and announced just before officially that the famous Flash Player is currently in death throats and is on its way to the Technology Cemetery so to speak by 2020.

The company announced that it is still committed to supporting, developing and updating the Flash program to comply with the systems and browsers that you want. But all this will be stopped by 2020. Adobe will collaborate with Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla to migrate existing content to new formats before the end.

Adobe has confirmed that the reason for termination is the lack of use (for example, the number of Flash users on Chrome fell from 80% in 2014 to 17% in 2017), where companies such as Apple, Google and Microsoft ended support Flash on their platforms and switch to HTLM5.

Security was the real problem of flash, the security risks and gaps in the program made many companies move away from the program and this was the inevitable end.
