A few days after LG announced its Q6, Q6a and Q6 + phones, it today announced the launch of its new Q-series phone and announced that it will be called LG Q8 and will have the H970 number and will be in Italy first.
LG Q8 will support Android OS 7.0 Nougat and will be available at $ 693, and there is no confirmed information on whether the phone will be available in markets other than European markets.
The new phone is expected to be similar to the LG V20 and will also have a built-in secondary display at the top of the screen to be used to view notifications without turning on the home screen and a 5.2-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The LG Q8 will come with a metal exterior design and will feature water and dust resistance with IP68 certification. It can operate underwater at a depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes. The phone is expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the back. It will also include a 13- and 8-megapixel rear camera. 4K video clips, the phone also supports 4 GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory, and has a Snapdragon 820 processor and a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
