Google is testing new designs for a number of different services, and recently there have been many reports that the company is changing the design of Google Now and today it was announced that the new design will be available to a large number of users.
Google has previously tested the redesign of the service when used by the publisher to remove the white background and replace it with a transparent display. The new design update is available with a transparent background, allowing clearer visibility. The main part of the design shows the different service sections below the top search bar.
The following images show the new design update on the Pixel XL phone and it is clear that the new update will only exist on Pixel phones without any plans to launch on other Google devices.
