Listen to music you’ve downloaded and purchased from Google Play Music on your Google Home devices now. If you’re subscribed, you’ll be able to listen to all that’s available, not just free radio stations.
The move was welcomed by users who struggled to find the music they wanted on Google Cloud, where Play Music was used as a source of music on Google Home devices and was limited to free users.
Google will give you preferences for the music you’ve downloaded, purchased and prioritized before random radio tracks when you’re running a specific list; but if you request music to play on a particular activity, Google Home will work like before.
In Google’s announcement, this new feature is being launched in all regions with Google Home devices.
