Samsung will make more profits than Apple for the first time in its history

Samsung plans to announce later this month its highest quarterly profit, up 63 percent from the same period last year, the company said in a statement.

According to the source, analysts expect Samsung to record quarterly operating profit higher than Apple, where Samsung is expected to record 11.5 billion dollars more than Apple analysts expected 10.49 billion dollars.

This strong rise is natural thanks to the sales of the leading phones Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus but there is also a strong contribution from the semiconductor division which is likely to contribute 60% of these profits.

On the other side is the display section, which won a two-billion-dollar supply contract to generate 70 million OLEDs for Apple for the iPhone 8, which caused the sector’s profits to rise 10-fold from last year.
