Facebook has announced a partnership with Fox Sports to win the rights to broadcast dozens of UEFA Champions League football matches in 2018.
Under the agreement, the broadcast will be in the United States of America via the web page starting in September. The broadcast includes two games a day in the group stage and 4 in the 16 and 4 in the Round of 8.
He did not disclose the details of the financial partnership nor how to prevent users from other countries around the world from following the broadcast by entering an American IP number.
Facebook aims to attract advertisers targeting young people who follow sports through smartphones and personal computers rather than TVs.
