Amazon digital aids are now able to communicate with surveillance cameras for sound and image transmission

Amazon has announced the launch of a new suite of developers that allows cameras to broadcast content on digital aids, Echo Show with a screen, or Echo and Echo Dot audio only.

The company said in its statement that companies such as Nest, Ring Ring or Logitech are taking advantage of the new software interfaces to broadcast the content of the cameras on Amazon’s digital aids; in EcoShow the image will appear when the user asks to see what is happening in front of his door, for example . In Echo and Echo Dot not equipped with a camera, the sound will only be broadcast.

Support for surveillance cameras comes a little late due to its presence in devices such as Google Home, or Apple’s smart devices running the IOS, where everything can be seen and controlled by the Home application within the system.
