After a test period that did not last long, Instagram officially announced the launch of a photo archiving feature for all users of the Android application on Android and iOS.
The idea is simply to keep a lot of images and even video without having to delete them. The reason, Instagram says, is that a lot of images are published and after a period of time the accountant sees that they are no longer fit for publication and have to be deleted.
Instead of deleting images, the archive feature lets you keep them hidden from followers to appear only to you and can be published again to followers if you change your mind.
The update, with the new feature coming as of today, for Instagram applications in Google Play Store for Android users and Apple Store for iPhone users.
