Google launches site to determine the Qiblah direction

Google launched a site targeted Muslims in the holy month of his job to help determine the direction of the Qibla. The site works on computers and smart phones.

When you open Qibla direction you are asked permission to get your location and camera and from it draw a straight line to the location of the Kaaba and when you look at it on a flat map, it may appear in the shape of a slash sometimes because of the curvature of the earth. In the phone you notice a point in the middle of the screen that tells you the precise Qibla location to go to when praying.

Google uses precise tools to locate the Ka’aba by determining the latitude and longitude coordinates with high accuracy and using the Hafersen equation and also using the compass inside the smartphone to adjust the direction.
