Apple today announced a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro at the WWDC conference. The device will run a dual-core A10X processor, a 12-core graphics chip and support HDR video with 120Hz refresh rate.
Apple explained that this is ideal for an Apple pen, because it makes the pen respond faster because of a low response rate of 20 milliseconds. The refresh rate is adjusted dynamically based on what is displayed to conserve energy effectively. In addition, the True Tone display is 50% brighter than the previous models; it works with a full on-screen keyboard plus a full smart keyboard.
