Facebook Social Network has started testing the unified alert center, which combines alerts from Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, in one place, so users do not need to switch between applications to see new alerts.
Mari Smith, a social networking analyst and researcher, said the new feature came to her; when she clicked on her profile, she had a list of alerts in other applications. Once the application alerts are pressed, it opens immediately.
Facebook confirmed TechCrunch existence when it said it was conducting small-scale tests to help users keep in touch with their friends. Adding that part of the tests is based on facilitating the transition between the various user accounts in Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram also.
The social network is keen to test the features before launching them to the public, to ensure that they work optimally, as well as to see how widely accepted users before launching them.
