WhatsApp’s returned to work after a sudden global shutdown lasting about two hours. The work began in the early hours of Thursday, and the reasons are not yet clear.
Before the application was reinstated, WhatsApp’s said the application was aware of the disruption of the service and was working to resolve it “as soon as possible.”
They did not disclose the countries affected by the interruption. Noted that the cessation of WhatsApp work coincided with Facebook users reaching to one billion subscribers.
