HP and Acer launch Windows 10S laptops at $ 299

Microsoft unveiled yesterday a new version of Windows called 10S, which will compete with the system Chrome to work on the computers of medium-priced specifications aimed at schools and the education sector in particular.

Microsoft will offer its operating system to several manufacturers to put it on their computers, and the beginning was with HP and Acer, where they announced the new versions of their computers without any change in specifications only the operating system and will sell each laptop at $ 299.

The HP ProBook x360 comes with a relatively small 11.6 “x 1366 * 768 pixel screen and works with slow Intel Celeron processors with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

HP sells the same device at 329 when it is loaded with Windows 10, but the price dropped to $ 299 when Windows 10S offered by Microsoft at a cheaper price.

Acer introduced the TravelMate Spin B1 travel device with a 11.6-inch touch screen with 1080p resolution, a Celeron processor with 64 GB of storage memory and 4 GB of random memory.

It’s just the beginning. Over the coming months and years, we’ll see more Windows 10S notebooks running at relatively low prices, as with Chrome. The new Surface Book 2 with high specifications and the price of a 1000 $!
